💛 Why I do this work
I didn’t come to this just through training (though I’ve had a lot) - I came through lived experience.
I know what it’s like to carry pain that doesn’t simply go away with time, with understanding or with even forgiving myself and others.
I know what it’s like to try to be strong, to put your head down and just push through “it” - or conversely, ignore it all or want to be rescued.
I know what it’s like to think I am fully healed, pain resolved, thinking better thoughts - and then, I suddenly get emotionally ambushed and triggered - because something deeper was unsettled and unresolved.
I’ve weathered some of life’s fiercest storms—breast cancer (twice), chemo, radiation, double mastectomy, loss of my hair; divorce, marital betrayal, shattered identity, deep grief and overwhelm during my child’s addiction and suicidal ideation, and the heartbreaking loss of my sister and my mom.
There were moments I didn’t think I’d make it… and moments I was afraid I would.
Over time and with the help of numerous forms of healing, I began to understand these two things that changed everything.
1) Healing isn’t about “fixing” ourselves, trying harder, nor what we think or what we repeatedly declare or recite. It’s about what our bodies have learned to hold and awareness of how we learned to cope with stress and trauma from an early age.
2) Healing is not a straight line. It’s a spiral - returning again and again with more awareness and capacity.
That realization led me into a deeper path - one that integrates faith, science, and more compassionate way of working with the body.
Now, I guide others through a spiral process of healing and transformation - gently, and at a pace that honors their story and experiences.
I’m a Certified: Grief Counselor, Transformation Coach, Enneagram Facilitator, DISC consultant, Forgiving Forward Coach, Art Therapy Practitioner, and Stress Management Specialist.
🌿 Heartwell: Healing Through Expressive Art
Healing through art and imagery has played a pivotal role in my own healing, leading me to create Spirit-led experiences to help others release the weight of stuck, stress-inducing feelings and awaken what’s hopeful within.
During this 45min - two-hour gentle and restorative experience, participants are invited into meaningful reflection while exploring color, texture, and simple art processes. You don’t need any artistic skill—only a willingness to rest, explore, and be open to God’s healing nearness.
As you create, you’re guided to release what weighs heavy on your heart and make room for what’s hopeful and life-giving. Many leave feeling lighter, centered, and deeply connected.
This is a beautiful experience for:
